STRING PLANET is available for string workshops and clinics at the school, college or orchestra level. Topics include pop and alternative styles, improvising a part, playing in situations with minimal or no notation, how to amplify a stringed instrument and playing behind a vocal or melody.

Novi and Larry have both worked for years in the Los Angeles studio scene, as well
as in rock, pop and instrumental groups (see Novi's Discography for reference).
They've appeared as clinicians for the Henry Mancini Institute, as well as spending
years as part of FREEWAY PHILHARMONIC giving workshops, residencies and
assemblies all over America.

STRING PLANET fascinates young audiences with a captivating sound based on a totally unique 21st-century instrumentation - the Chapman Stick (a new instrument which most people haven’t seen) and Viola. In their program “Music and the Imagination,” students are treated to an exploration of how music suggests different moods, emotions and attitudes. Using audience participation and familiar musical examples from film, TV, pop and classical music, STRING PLANET conducts a guided tour of the mind’s eye, showing how rhythm, harmony, melody and tone color can create images, characters, landscapes and ideas in the mind.
